Shopify agency and WooCommerce builds for growing shops
Webpixo is a Shopify agency and WooCommerce developer that builds online shops for UK businesses, from a first small store to a full catalogue. We set up products, payments, delivery options and SEO so the shop is ready to sell and ready to be found. Our office is in Perivale, and we work with retailers in Harrow, North West London and across the UK.
What our ecommerce builds include
Shop design
We design product pages, category pages and the basket so shoppers can find what they want and check out without confusion.
Product setup
We add products, variants such as size and colour, stock levels and images, or import them in bulk from a spreadsheet.
Payments and delivery
We connect your payment provider, set up UK and international delivery rules, and test real orders from start to finish.
Product page SEO
We write clear titles and descriptions, add product schema so Google can show price and stock details, and avoid duplicate pages.
Speed and mobile
We keep themes light and images compressed, because slow shops lose sales, especially on phones.
Platform moves
We move shops between platforms, carry over products and customers where possible, and set up redirects so you keep your search rankings.
Shopify or WooCommerce: which suits your shop?
Shopify is a hosted platform. You pay Shopify a monthly subscription, and it looks after hosting, security and software updates. It is quick to set up, easy for staff to use, and has a large app store for extra features. The trade off is less control over some technical details and ongoing app costs that can add up.
WooCommerce is a free plugin that turns a WordPress website into a shop. You need your own hosting, and someone has to keep WordPress, the theme and the plugins updated. In return you get full control over the site, your content and your data, and it works very well if content and SEO are a big part of how you sell.
As a rough guide, we often suggest Shopify for product led shops that want to sell quickly with little upkeep, and WooCommerce for businesses that already use WordPress or publish a lot of guides and articles. We look at your products, your team and your plans before recommending either.
Getting products found in Google
An online shop with no visitors is just a catalogue. Most shop owners rely on a mix of Google search, Google Shopping, social media and returning customers. We build every shop with search in mind from the start.
That means unique product descriptions rather than copied manufacturer text, category pages with a short helpful introduction, clean web addresses and product schema, which is the hidden labels that tell Google the price, stock status and reviews of each product. We also set up Google Merchant Center when you want products to appear in free Shopping listings and ads.
AI tools are starting to recommend products too. Clear product facts, honest descriptions and genuine reviews make it easier for those tools to understand what you sell.
Moving an existing shop without losing sales
Many of our ecommerce projects are moves, for example from an old WooCommerce site to Shopify, or from a template platform to WordPress. The biggest risk in any move is losing search rankings because old product links stop working.
We map every old address to its new one and set up redirects, so customers and Google land on the right page. We check that products, images and key details carry across correctly, and we test checkout before switching over. After launch we watch Search Console closely for errors and fix them quickly.
Search now includes AI answers
Ranking on Google is half the job. Being named by AI is the other half.
Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Gemini mostly draw on pages that already rank well. Our AI SEO work builds on everything else we do for you.

Ecommerce questions
Is Shopify or WooCommerce better for a small UK business?
Shopify is often easier for small product shops because hosting, security and updates are handled for you. WooCommerce gives more control and suits businesses already using WordPress or publishing lots of content. The best choice depends on your products and who will run the shop day to day.
Can you move my shop from WooCommerce to Shopify?
Yes. We move products, categories and, where the platforms allow it, customer and order records. We also set up redirects from old product links so you keep as much of your search traffic as possible.
Do you add products for me?
Yes. We can add products by hand or import them in bulk from a spreadsheet, including variants, images and stock levels. We also show your team how to add new products after launch.
Will my online shop work well on phones?
Yes. We design for phones first because most shoppers browse and buy on mobile. We test product pages, the basket and checkout on real devices before launch.
Can my products appear in Google Shopping?
Yes. We can set up Google Merchant Center and connect your product feed, which allows your products to appear in free Shopping listings. Google decides what to show, but a clean feed with accurate details gives you the best chance.
Do you build shops for businesses outside London?
Yes. Our office is in Perivale and we work with many retailers in Harrow and North West London, but we build shops for businesses across the UK. The whole project can be run online.
Can you help my online shop rank in Google?
Yes. Every shop we build has clean product pages, unique descriptions and product schema from launch. We also offer ongoing SEO for shops, covering category pages, buying guides and links from relevant sites.
